Johnny Chae

Background & Education

Pastor Johnny Chae grew up in Elgin, Illinois under the ministry of Pastor Keith Gomez at Northwest Bible Baptist Church. His love for the Word of God and a burden for souls developed early in life under faithful preaching and biblical training.

He attended Providence Baptist College, where he met his wife Traci, and graduated in May 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Missions.

Ministry Journey

After graduating, Pastor Chae served at Northwest Bible Baptist Church, then joined Heritage Baptist as Youth Pastor in 2015. On July 14, 2019, he was unanimously called to serve as Senior Pastor, a calling he embraces with humility and passion for God's people.

Mrs. Traci Chae

Married in July 2012, Traci is a vital part of Heritage Baptist's ministry. She leads Children's Church on Sunday mornings.

Their Children

Pastor and Mrs. Chae are blessed with three children: McKenna, Everly, and Haddon, being raised in the love and admonition of the Lord right here at Heritage Baptist.

Whether preaching from the pulpit, discipling a new believer one-on-one, or supporting missionaries around the world, Pastor Chae leads with the conviction that the Word of God is sufficient for every need.
